OMdeSIGN designs and builds state of the art e-commerce website for designer florist Paul Thomas Flowers

London based web design agency, OMdeSIGN, are proud to announce the launch of a brand new e-commerce website for the innovative, high end designer florist Paul Thomas Flowers

To call Paul Thomas Flowers a designer florist is to understate matters somewhat. Since starting his own business in 1989, having trained with Kenneth Turner, Paul has been earning plaudits for the unique style, endless innovation and seemingly effortless beauty of the floral works of art which he creates. A passion for the flowers he works with allied to a fearlessly bold eye for aesthetic detail have earned Paul a reputation for supplying hotels, restaurants, shops and offices – as well as people simply seeking a beautiful treat – with designs described, time and again, as ‘luscious’, ‘explosive’ and ‘beautiful’.

Despite a client list which already includes Vivienne Westwood, the Ritz London and the Royal family, Paul came to OMdeSIGN to expand his online presence via a bespoke e-commerce website. The OMdeSIGN web agency team worked closely with Paul to design a site which captured and reflected the visual impact of the designs for which he is famous. Paul Thomas Flowers provided the stunning imagery and we built a website designed specifically to make the most of the carefully crafted beauty on display. This meant creating full width slideshows on the homepage and product pages and complimenting this with an overall look which matched Paul’s creations for style, elegance and the wow factor.

Not only did the website we built look the part but it got the job done. It was responsive to the full range of mobile devices and easy to navigate. A custom built content management system meant that the team at Paul Thomas could update the content of the site as quickly as they fashioned stunning new creations, whilst the administrative interface made it simple to perform tasks such as managing stock, taking delivery details and dealing with payments. Everything which you should be able to take for granted when using an e-commerce website, in other words, allied to a grasp of the business which meant that the site played a key role in projecting and emphasising the up-market yet accessible nature of Paul Thomas Flowers.

Since being launched, the site has received overwhelmingly positive feedback and helped to drive a rise in online sales.
